Classroom Areas
Our classrooms are carefully arranged to create effective learning environments that are designed with specific educational goals in mind. The dramatic area helps students develop a broad range of social, language and cognitive skills. The construction area offers wide range of building materials, animals, people, transportation toys and more to explore basic math, science and STEAM concepts while promoting creativity, problem solving and collaboration. Additional classroom spaces and resources provide opportunities for development of important pre-writing and language skills and facilitate the acquisition of important academic concepts.
Innovative Resources
Innovative resources such as light tables, sensory tables, and projectors are incorporated in our teaching approach. Light tables and projectors engage visual learners and enhance building, tracing, drawing, painting activities and more. Sensory tables facilitate science experiments and hands-on exploration of multiple materials.
Additional Resources for Pre-K 4
In addition to the areas found in all our classrooms, our pre-k 4 classrooms have additional spaces and technological resources to compliment teaching and successfully prepare our students for kindergarten. From interactive smart boards to audio and tech centers, each space is equipped to facilitate large and small groups as well as independent learning.
